Lamborghini Reventón Roadster - Pictures Revealed!

A collection of cool Lamborghini Reventón Roadster pictures. Lamborghini Reventón Roadster will be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt auto show this month. We can see from these initial pictures that it’s a proper, open-air follow-up to the Lamborghini Reventón coupe that debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt show.

Based on the Murciélago, but with more sinister styling, loads more carbon fiber, and a jet-fighter-inspired cockpit, fewer than 20 examples will reportedly be built, with each carrying a price tag likely well in excess of $1 million. Power will likely come from the same 641-hp, 6.5-liter V-12 found in the hardtop, with a six-speed automated manual and all-wheel drive comprising the rest of the drivetrain.



Performance also should be similar, with 60 mph arriving in as little as 3.4 seconds. However, the roadster’s top speed is likely to be a bit less than the 224 mph claimed for the coupe. Inside, expect acres of Alcantara and more carbon fiber, as well as unique aviation-themed LCD instrumentation.

In its new generation, the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder represents more than ever before automotive passion in its purest form. As in the Coupe, its enormous power is delivered by the new 5.2 litre V10 with an output of 560 hp at 8,000 rpm. The increase in 40 hp over its predecessor, as well as the 44 pound (20 kilogram) reduction in vehicle weight, improves the power-to-weight ratio to 6.10 pounds (2.77 kg) per hp, thus improving performance even further.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder takes only 4.0 seconds to sprint from 0 to 62 mph, reaching 124mph in only 13.1 seconds and going on to a top speed of 201mph. The new driveline, featuring the 'Iniezione Diretta Stratificata' direct fuel injection system also makes for impressive efficiency. Despite the considerable increase in performance, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced by a staggering 18 percent.
Engineers at the Ufficio Tecnico Lamborghini, Sant'Agata-based Technical Department, have also improved traction, handling and stability at high speeds. The redesigned four-wheel drive transmission, the new suspension, the improved stiffness of the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder bodyshell and the optimised aerodynamics all contribute to the overall improvements in the vehicle, as do the reduced weight and decreased friction throughout the components.
Thus the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder presents itself as a razor-sharp super sports car with the precision reactions of a high-performance athlete. The car is also surprisingly suited to long-distance driving and, despite its extreme performance capabilities, is easy to control whilst maintaining utmost stability. Automobili Lamborghini selects Zircotec® ceramic coating to protect the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera

The new lightweight Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is the latest Lamborghini to use Zircotec’s advanced ceramic heat resistant coatings on its tailpipe assemblies. Using a Diamond Black ceramic to keep heat inside the exhaust, allows Lamborghini to adopt more lightweight composite bodywork that contributes to the 70kg weight saving.

Developed specifically for Lamborghini, the Diamond Black ceramic is applied to the exhaust at temperatures over 12,000°C using plasma spraying. This process ensures the ceramic is extremely durable, offering an aesthetically-pleasing finish that will outlast paint or untreated metals. “Zircotec’s technology not only protects sensitive composite finishes but also the exhaust itself,” says Zircotec’s sales director Peter Whyman. “Corroded or flaking exhaust finishes ruin the appearance of the rear of the car. Our technology ensures Lamborghini’s latest car will continue to look good for many years.”
The durable coating was tested to ensure that it met the rigorous requirements set down by Lamborghini. “Zircotec’s coating met the lifetime and temperature cycling tests set by Lamborghini including rapid cycling in temperature and pressure washing,” says Whyman. “The combination of our application method that effectively welds the ceramic to the exhaust,  the proprietary ThermoHold® bond coat and the unique Diamond Black material make our coating viable for OEM applications.
The Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera follows the highly successful application of Zircotec’s thermal barriers on the Reventón and Murciélago LP640 supercars, where the use of the coating delivered both weight reductions through the removal of heatshields and added protection for the composites. For the latest Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, the coating allowed Lamborghini’s designers to specify carbon fibre for the diffuser venturi and upper element that surrounds the new quad tailpipe system.  “Our zirconia-based coatings are used in F1 applications to protect delicate composite bodywork and suspension parts,” adds Whyman. “This is a good example of technology transfer from the track to the road.”

The long awaited Ferrari F430 is here with its mind blowing design and of course the all new 4,308 cc V8 engine. The acceleration from zero to sixty in 3.9 seconds definitely proves that this is one of the coolest cars on the market. The top speed goes well over 195 miles per hour. At 186 mph the aerodynamics add a greater force of six hundred sixteen pounds. The Gestione Sportiva F1 racing division completely inspired the design. There are many other things that you can completely have custom to your Ferrari including: carbon ceramic discs that are sure to stop you on a dime, an F1 paddle shifter to add elegance and quickness to any shift. The technical design easily transfers the torque levels to the street under hard circumstances like hard g-force turns so the tires won’t lose grip or spin out. The nineteen inch wheels and the worthy suspension make any drive in the F430 not only pleasurable, but almost orgasmic :)

Then outstanding engineering is inspired by the collaboration with Pininfarina. There isn’t much difference from the 360 Modena although the design is strength at its best. Two air intakes allow this deep breathing beast to cool itself while maneuvering the streets. Bi-xenon technology allows the tiny hidden headlights to sit compactly within the hood. The side mirrors are also designed with arms that create airflow ducts that go directly to the engine intakes. F430 was added to the backside of the mirrors for an additional touch of excellence.




The Guts


Starting off with the mounted ignition, the interior was paid seemingly more attention than other exterior features. Carbon fiber or aluminum inserts are a feature for the interior. They added even more space behind the back seats and included and electronically operated compartment for luggage or even a mesh net for further support. Side bolsters added to the race seats make these seats top-notch. You can choose from twelve different leather packages and eight colors for carpets. Using the selector in the steering wheel, a driver can easily change the setup. Change suspension, stability & traction control, and you even can change the speed of the F1 transmission.








The Ferarri F430 is unique in its design and will always make an impact on car performance as it has always ripped through the race track and killed 0-60 times. The F430 clearly makes it as cool car.

The Bugatti Veyron - Cool Car

The Bugatti Veyron performs well over 200 mph nearly melting the tires. The Veyron even passes the speed of 250 mph. I know, hard to believe! The Veyron has different driving modes, one being top-speed mode which is only triggered by a second key. In this mode, the car will lower the body to the ground giving better control. Speed is the answer with this car, blazing from 0-60 in under 3 seconds. and 0-180 in about 14 seconds. Retail price ranges from 1.2 mill- 1.6 million dollars.



The 2009 Bugatti Veyron Spider is also coming. The spider comes with a top that can lift-off. With the top lifted the top speed is dramatically reduced to 217mph verse the hardtop's 257mph.
